Products I’m Trying Out This Year

My shopping has gotten a bit out of hand in recent months. Not that I buy heaps in one go but that’s possibly where the problem lies. I buy in bits and before you know it, a collection has been built but nothing has been opened for use yet. It’s fair to say that I have a few product categories that I no longer need to fill in for this year and what is that you ask? Without further ado, let’s get started! FYI, most of these products were purchased on Amazon. I’ve recently come back from Hong Kong so any beauty products that I’ve purchased on that trip will be showcased separately. January Monthly Favourites | 2019

It has been so long since I have drafted up a monthly favourites post! I’m giving this series a re-boot which is refreshing for me because I have been meaning to share my love for a couple of products. I originally stopped this series this time last year actually due to the fact that I was running out of new favourites that had not already been mentioned on the blog. I was basically rotating my favourites around for months in use so it seemed pointless to continue writing them then. Now that my collection is entirely different, I’m ready to get back into the swing of posting Favourites! My Current Everyday Makeup and Favourites

It’s been a time since I’ve written anything makeup-related so I thought I’d kick things off again by letting you in on my current everyday makeup routine. I was going to call it a makeup tutorial but I didn’t want to seem like some self-defined high-up person who could teach about makeup. I’m just a girl who somehow got into it and figured what’s best for me and what’s not, y’know? Certainly, there are a lot of makeup favourites in this routine which I’ve stuck to everyday – or at least every time I do my makeup. It’s perfect for work but also dressy enough to go out – a little something but not overly done. I actually haven’t gotten sick of the routine and since a job change, I realise how routine is so key. I’d like it if you could reply with your current makeup routine and favourites. In exchange, here’s mine! It would also benefit you greatly if you grabbed a hot beverage as this is a long post… Featured in this …

January Monthly Favourites ft. Real Techniques and Bobbi Brown!

I am thrilled to talk about this month’s favourites! ย Last month was quite a boring month (even if it was Christmas month…) because I didn’t really try anything new or if I did, it was very late within the month. Mainly, I stuck to my previous favourites so nothing changed. Despite so, my last favourites post actually fared really well, so thank you everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚ I haven’t been beauty shopping much* because I am trying to use up what I do have whilst also resetting my current collection – both in skincare and makeup. This month’s buys consist only of two brushes (featured here) but everything else are months old in terms of purchase, so you can imagine my delight when I finally got round to trying (and loving) them! *I’ve bought bits and bobs from Home Bargains the other day, but they were extremely cheap and cheerful. Half were essentials and replacement items!ย  Here they are, in all their glory, my favourites of the month… Featured in this post: Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil …

30 Beauty Questions Tag

It’s been a while since I last did a tag but from what I remember, they’re fun and interactive! I saw Stella’s post and enjoyed it so much that I wanted to take part too. ๐Ÿ™‚ I have told you a bit about myself in Q&As but I am sure that there are some beauty-related gaps that haven’t been filled. Well, you know what they say – if you don’t ask, you don’t tell!ย ๐Ÿ˜ Let’s Start: Do you remember your first makeup item? I’m certain that it was a mascara by Rimmel. I doubt that they sell it anymore since it was so long ago! At the time, my eldest brother’s girlfriend wore this mascara but I cannot remember if she gifted one to me or if I just went ahead and bought my own. I do remember however, that she bought other makeup for me. ๐Ÿ™‚ Describe your perfect mascara. It has to hold the curl! Otherwise, it is a deal-breaker for meย I’m afraid. I like a mascara that lifts my lashes and gives …
