No-Buy Phase: What I Won’t Be Buying For A While

As you may have noticed from my recent posts, I’ve been shopping. Some of which, I’ve shared with you already, some are still in-testing and some are…not yet touched. ūüĎÄ I have seen these type of posts around but it was never my full intention to create a post of this sort. I guess I didn’t quite anticipate how many products I’m still not using despite having emptied so many. [See: Empties posts] So when I did discover those products in the simple action of opening my drawer or looking in my ‘beauty basket’, I decided I needed to sort out what I wouldn’t be buying for a while! A long while. These are also products I need to actively start using more of despite me consciously knowing of its existence or throw out, because they’re so old. So, enjoy! To make things easier, I thought best to organise in categories! A Two-Years-After Review on Real Techniques Brushes (Total of 12!)

I’ve officially surpassed the ‘newbie’ stage in makeup so you can say I feel a bit more entitled to talk about the ins and outs of a brush brand that is so widely known; that I have used from the beginning¬†of my makeup journey just over two years ago. If like me, you started with Real Techniques brushes, then you’re in for a trip down memory lane! For the most part, they’re still going strong but which brushes do I really like and would recommend? And which are not so well-loved, falling a bit short? Note: I don’t own a huge array of brushes (across different brands) so I won’t be able to compare these to others. However, that could be for the better! I mainly own Real Techniques and EcoTools.¬† Featured in this post: Expert Face Brush Blush Brush Powder Brush Core Collection Starter Set The brushes are colour-coded which to my knowledge, is unique to the brand.
