#Selfcare Sunday Series | How to Make your New Years Resolutions/Goals Count This Year

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone has had a re-charged weekend! I have been sleeping terrible overall…I just can’t seem to get comfortable but most of all, I have been finding it hard to shut my mind down. Even though on the surface and in general, my personality is very chilled, my mind is in fact going 100mph. Does anyone have any tips for sleeping better? I’m going to try some different teas to see if that would help but at the moment, I’ve been feeling like a zombie. Anyways – back to topic: I wanted to tap into more advice-giving posts this year so to start 2020 off, I’m going to be rounding off my best tips to getting your New Years resolutions in-check this year! If you don’t believe in them, that’s totally fine – just replace them with any goals throughout the year that you may have! Create a Rough Timeline Note that I mentioned ‘rough’. It’s important to have clear goals but nothing is set in stone unless you have a deadline …

My Current Playlist #3

For those unfamiliar to this series, I simply post 30 songs that I have been recently listening to in the past few weeks. My playlist can be very mixed as I tap into a lot of different genres as to avoid repeating what’s already being played on mainstream radio. Oh, and there are a few Christmas songs which are no longer relevant but were when I was compiling this list, haha! Enjoy. 🙂 Here are my top 30 picks as of recent: Billie Eilish – bellyache Billie Eilish – watch Billie Eilish – all the good girls go to hell TSHA – Me You Tones and I – Dance Monkey Mabel – Loneliest Time of Year Lewis Capaldi – Before You Go Stormzy – Vossi Bop Stormzy – Superheroes Stormzy – Do Better Stormzy – Lessons Stormzy ft. My Current Playlist #2

If you follow me on my Instagram, you’ll know that one of my favourite things that I love to upload on my IG Stories is screenshots of what I’m listening to on Spotify at that moment. I am on the constant search for new artists and tend to support smaller indie artists now since I’ve rinsed my mainstream playlists like a million times – bored is an understatement. Can we please just talk about Harry Style’s recent SNL live performances though?! The man is doing no wrong! So inclusive! (This is also coming from someone who’s traditionally not a 1D fan.) Here’s my newly assembled list of 30 songs that I’ve been enjoying as of late: Keshi – 2 soon Keshi – summer Keshi – right here Zedd, Kehlani – Good Thing Why Mona – Wannabe (Spice Girls cover!) Lauv – Bracelet OneRepublic – Rescue Me Noah Kahan – False Confidence Harry Styles – Lights Up Harry Styles – Watermelon Sugar Chance the Rapper (ft. My Current Playlist #1

Thought I’d put together something a little different! I am a huge music fan; probably more so this year than ever before since I’m making more effort to discover new artists and not listen to all the auto-tuned records playing on the radio. Without naming any names, some artists have become huge sell-outs which has disappointed me greatly since their artistry was so good to begin with. I guess that’s what it means when they say it’s hard to stay original and relevant in the industry. Without further ado, here’s a compiled list of 30 songs that I’ve been listening to non-stop as of late: Gabrielle Aplin – Waking Up Slow (Piano Version) H.E.R – Focus H.E.R – Hard Place H.E.R – Going (Full) Post Malone – Circles Post Malone – Allergic Miley Cyrus – Slide Away Tori Kelly – Unbreakable Smile Tori Kelly – Coffee Alina Baraz – Electric (ft. Khalid) Jeremy Zucker – every day (stripped) Jeremy Zucker – comethru Pale Wales – There’s a Honey Bronski Beat – Smalltown Boy Charlie Puth …

My Busy Summer: Lessons in Self-Growth

Forgive me for having been absent from the blog for months. This summer just gone has been a whirlwind and quite frankly my busiest summer since…forever? It was nice though because I am not the type to book a holiday for next year. I do things in the moment or last minute which works well for some people and not so well for others. I am a spontaneous event planner. Somehow I found myself at a project after another and towards the end of my summer, I even went to Edinburgh for 4 days! Of course, these are all experiences accumulated from my new work but it was an unforgettable summer. I have met so many new people and whilst I can see more challenges ahead, it’s a start of something. A spark. Whether I should let it burn, ignite, is another story but I’m continuing the journey anyway. I haven’t written a life update since my last, so here’s a summary of events that took place this summer for me and what I took …
