September Monthly Favourites ft. Superdrug, Essie + LUSH!

Fall is here and I’m so excited for it! It’s not quite cold yet but my wardrobe is slowly transitioning to colder weather. For me, I would always choose fall/winter > spring/summer – my skin loves it, my wardrobe loves it, I love it. 😝 This month, it is undoubtedly, unapologetically, all about skincare with two exceptions. Don’t worry, next month you’ll see me busting out all my Autumn shades in my makeup! (I already dug out two awesome cream shadows last night that I almost forgot about…spoiler alert but maybe you will see them next month?) August Monthly Favourites ft. The Ordinary, Innisfree + Bobbi Brown!

It feels like ages since I sat down and talked with everyone but it has only been a solid week of me being away! Really sorry about that. Last Tuesday, I went to a Spa day with two of my very good friends which was something planned months in advance. That took up the full day but sometimes you just need to catch-up with people and life you know? That day, I promised myself to leave technology behind! Realistically, posting on Tuesday or even the following day wasn’t going to happen but I still had plans to post twice last week. Come Thursday evening, I noticed that my throat was starting to feel clogged up which is normally the first sign that I’m coming down with a cold – and that’s exactly what happened. The bad kind too. As if that wasn’t enough, on Friday evening, I noticed I had a peculiar mosquito bite on my leg which actually swell up the following day like a bruised golf ball. Genuinely praying to the Gods that …

No-Buy Phase: What I Won’t Be Buying For A While

As you may have noticed from my recent posts, I’ve been shopping. Some of which, I’ve shared with you already, some are still in-testing and some are…not yet touched. 👀 I have seen these type of posts around but it was never my full intention to create a post of this sort. I guess I didn’t quite anticipate how many products I’m still not using despite having emptied so many. [See: Empties posts] So when I did discover those products in the simple action of opening my drawer or looking in my ‘beauty basket’, I decided I needed to sort out what I wouldn’t be buying for a while! A long while. These are also products I need to actively start using more of despite me consciously knowing of its existence or throw out, because they’re so old. So, enjoy! To make things easier, I thought best to organise in categories! YesStyle Beauty Haul + Experience! | What Am I Trying Out Next?

To say that I’ve done a bit of damage this month is probably an understatement, but I know myself – I generally don’t shop skincare and beauty that often, and when I do – it is normally a real essential which is more than forgivable. The last few beauty items that I bought were a drugstore mascara and 2 sunscreens which is hardly wild and were purchases done perhaps close to two months now. Here’s the deal: I sometimes think you shouldn’t be so hard on yourself when spending. You deserve to treat yourself once in a while! Unless of course, you have too much of the same thing which might be a real problem. But in my case, I’ve been good. I’ve been using up products (See: The Beauty Clean-Up Series) and due to use up more from my current skincare routine…so in a way, I’m being organised for my next routine. (Is there ever a real justification on spending money other than wanting to spend and buy something pretty?) 😛 Let’s start shall we? (From …
