October Monthly Favourites | 2019

Fall has really come through and I’m feeling the cold just a bit! I do love this season though and just the other day, I was able to rummage through the autumnal leaves in my new leather boots (cue favourite for next month’s post). I hope you’re all wrapped up warm? I haven’t written a Favourites post for a good couple of months now so I thought it was about time that I told you what I have enjoyed as of recent! Let’s get started shall we? May Monthly Favourites | 2019

Oh how I wish it was May again! We are closer to July now but I hate missing Favourites so here it is in all its glory. I’m working on my June Monthly Favourites simultaneously too so you’ll probably end up seeing a lot of favourites in a narrow timeframe. In my last update, I had this idea to make my Favourites post themed from now on and a lot of you really warmed up to the idea which is great! Last month’s theme (technically not really last month, but we can pretend) was Tranquility. The theme for the month of April is: Intuition. April Monthly Favourites | 2019

So I’m going to try something a bit new when it comes to writing my Favourites. I think it would be a nice touch to make it themed and I don’t necessarily mean being descriptive about the seasons because we all know how messed up that is at the moment! (The sun has decided to come out today though so there’s that.) The theme will mostly be down to how I have been feeling overall that month or it could be something/someone I’m feeling deeply inspired by. I’m not someone who follows trends head-on so I thought this would be a nice approach in tying all my favourites together in one group intuitively. It may work. It may not work. But we’re trying it out! March Monthly Favourites | 2019

I am extremely happy to show you the Favourites that I have compiled for this March! It’s not often that I don’t have a beauty favourite to share – in fact, this might be a first – but since I had so many other favourites, it’s probably for the best (although purely coincidental). Some of it is going to be very random but I feel that’s what makes Favourites fun because certain items get honourable mentions and help define a moment in your life. Let’s get started shall we? Featured in this post: NETFLIX:Queer Eye (Season 3)Selling SunsetTerrace House: Boys & Girls in the City OTHER:Happy Glass (game)Stop Stealing Dreams – Seth Godin (A manifesto available on Medium – please read)BeautyPlus Netflix I don’t watch as much Netflix as most people because I am trying to enjoy everything I watch in small doses. In other words, I’m restraining myself from binge-watching too much at a time. I don’t know about you but whilst it was good to binge-watch at the beginning, it eventually ruins your …

February Monthly Favourites | 2019

The sun has been shining brightly this week and it’s feeling more like Spring (although still cold). My senses are awakened and I’m feeling more inspired than ever. Like finally. I had been waiting for Winter to go to sleep for a good full month now so it’s nice to finally see that wish granted. There’s just something nice about the sun shining down on your face in the morning whilst you’re still in bed because really, who loves dark mornings anyways? I am still playing a bit of blog catch-up but we’re getting close to the end before I start focusing on the new content that I hope to put forward on the blog. I’m rather excited for this because even though I write leisurely, there are topics I want to discuss further as means to inspire the next generation of kids. As some of you may know, I was in Hong Kong for most of February so my favourite products that I’m showcasing here is linked to that. Let’s get started! Featured in …
