December Monthly Favourites ft. LUSH, DIOR and Maybelline!

The last Favourites instalment of 2017 has come late but it is here! Not too many favourites for this month which I know is a bit strange because it’s supposed to be all festive and fancy but honestly, I was very au naturel throughout the month. I also didn’t try anything majorly new but I’ll be sure to have some new things to show you next month. 🙂 Featured in this post: LUSH Pink Peppermint Foot Lotion LUSH Oaty Creamy Dreamy Shower Cream DIOR Miss Dior Eau de Parfum Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in ‘Light’ Because This Is my First Life (K-drama) Feet is weird to talk about but let’s do it: I know. 5 Beauty Products I Took To Berlin

Before I went to Berlin for a 5-day trip, I had thought to create a post on what I was taking beauty-wise (skincare and makeup). Skincare planning did not go to waste and in fact – I thought I did rather well. (Upcoming post on that soon!) But on the makeup front, I have to admit that I didn’t use everything that I brought with me. It’s silly really, and somehow I do this every time. It’s almost like I have an irrational fear of not having enough makeup with me on my travels! So today, I’m showing you the exact 5 products that I did use during the whole course of my trip to sport a less is more look. Featured in this post: Bobbi Brown SPF 50 Protective Face Base Etude House Drawing Eyebrow Duo in 1 Dark Brown L’Oréal A Million Lashes Waterproof Mascara Dior Addict Lipstick in 871 Power Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder in Pale Yellow I believe all of these products have been previously featured in my favourites post, which …

If you missed Part 1 < you can find it here. Part 3 to follow. Nina Ricci An unfamiliar name in my vocabulary. I have only so far likened Nina Ricci to her signature perfume although I know full well that she makes clothes too. But this is also why I am writing – to educate myself more in this area. And if you were to ask me, ‘Well, what separates Parisian fashion to the other fashion weeks?’ then my answer would be one word: Sensuality. Sometimes the designer doesn’t have to be inspired by some crazy theme. They can simply just be inspired by a woman and a feeling for how they should dress, would want to dress. In part, I felt the fabrics were the inspiration with the lacquer blacks, shocking reds, glossy mauve and chestnut browns that were all somehow contrasting. Quite simply, the presence of these fabrics put together created texture, a palette, sensuality. There are many looks that could be imagined in a Parisian evening setting. The outerwear pieces in particular were my favourite! …
