Products I’m Trying Out This Year

My shopping has gotten a bit out of hand in recent months. Not that I buy heaps in one go but that’s possibly where the problem lies. I buy in bits and before you know it, a collection has been built but nothing has been opened for use yet. It’s fair to say that I have a few product categories that I no longer need to fill in for this year and what is that you ask? Without further ado, let’s get started! FYI, most of these products were purchased on Amazon. I’ve recently come back from Hong Kong so any beauty products that I’ve purchased on that trip will be showcased separately. 6 Months After Using More The Ordinary Skincare

I haven’t talked about The Ordinary in a couple of months (with the exception of favourites and empties post) so I thought now would be the perfect time to update you all on my continued experience since my last post. So far, I’ve been mostly impressed and it gives me joy that word has gotten around about this amazing brand. I’m almost sure that it needs no introduction now because it’s really taken the industry by storm. ‘Work until you no longer have to introduce yourself’, they say. That sums up The Ordinary’s situation; just that it may have happened much sooner than anticipated! They have done the unthinkable. 4 Beauty Waters on Trial

It has been trial month for me and I like to think that I’ve been patient enough in testing the products to have an acquired opinion about them! This time we’re talking beauty waters although I’m being quite loose with the term here. I really mean beauty waters in terms of its liquid form but by strict definition, I don’t think the eye makeup remover would pass as a beauty water! Otherwise, everything else is quite multi-functional; helping me prep my skin prior to more skincare goodness and/or makeup. These are perhaps the most beauty waters I’ve owned and used in the same beauty cycle so you can say I’m stepping into new territory! Featured in this post: Bioderma Sébium H2O Nivea Double Effect Eye Makeup Remover La Roche-Posay Serozinc Avène Thermal Spring Water The Micellar Water I wouldn’t say I swear by micellar waters because you shouldn’t get lazy about washing your face twice (i.e. double-cleanse) but I don’t think I can extract them from my life either. It’s what I use as my ‘morning-cleanse’ …
