Review: My Beauty Diary Bird’s Nest Mask

If you remember from my YesStyle Beauty Haul + Experience post, I had hauled two different boxes of sheet masks. One was the NARUKO Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrating Mask which I have previously reviewed. Today, I am reviewing the My Beauty Diary Bird’s Nest Mask. 🙂 For reference, I have combination/oily skin that can have a tendency to be dehydrated. Let’s begin shall we? What is it? It is a box of 10 sheet masks, designed to hold as much fluid as possible in order to moisten and soften the skin from layers below the epidermis. From the grid, it claims to nourish and brighten, firm and moisturise so it’s definitely a sheet mask that packs a punch (or so it seems). How much does it cost? I purchased mine for ÂŁ15.51 which is a reasonable price I think. I tried to find a RRP but it was difficult to do so. However, in my experience, the ordinary MBD masks are around  £10/11 per box, and the fancier ones (like this one) …

January Monthly Favourites ft. Real Techniques and Bobbi Brown!

I am thrilled to talk about this month’s favourites!  Last month was quite a boring month (even if it was Christmas month…) because I didn’t really try anything new or if I did, it was very late within the month. Mainly, I stuck to my previous favourites so nothing changed. Despite so, my last favourites post actually fared really well, so thank you everyone! 🙂 I haven’t been beauty shopping much* because I am trying to use up what I do have whilst also resetting my current collection – both in skincare and makeup. This month’s buys consist only of two brushes (featured here) but everything else are months old in terms of purchase, so you can imagine my delight when I finally got round to trying (and loving) them! *I’ve bought bits and bobs from Home Bargains the other day, but they were extremely cheap and cheerful. Half were essentials and replacement items!  Here they are, in all their glory, my favourites of the month… Featured in this post: Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil …

Skincare I Took to Berlin

Happy Fall! I’m so happy for this new season…are you? I’ve never openly expressed this before (I don’t think) but I would say it’s my favourite season. Summer is great for its long days which makes my photography game strong; but my skin hates it! Now that it’s fall again, my skin is a lot nicer. Behaving. I’ve yet to share my experience of Berlin with you but first: skincare I took to Berlin.  You can also check out this post if you haven’t already: 5 beauty products I took to Berlin. July Monthly Favourites ft. Charlotte Tilbury, H&M + Etude House!

I actually couldn’t tell you what happened in July, except for the fact that I watched a lot of Wimbledon tennis for most of it. Otherwise the month just flew by as if we just skipped a month and said hello to August which also – what’s that all about?! I can however tell you what I’ve been really loving in the past month and wouldn’t you believe it…there is only one skincare product! As such, I’ll start with that first. I masked a lot in those two weeks of recovering (!!) which lead …

The Beauty Clean-Up #6 (empties) | HUGE Edition!

Overdue is largely an understatement right now but I’m glad I can actively throw away what’s been in my beauty junk box since the last time we spoke. [See: The Beauty Clean-up #5] I’ve been doing some major collecting to the point that my beauty junk box is well and truly overflowing. I need to throw these empty packets and bottles away! This is going to be a particularly long post so to (hopefully) make things easier, I’ll keep each product review as short as possible! + Would repurchase – Will not bother again = Neutral/Indifferent + Simple Micellar Cleansing Water – Simple Toning Cleanser = Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water + Bioderma SĂ©bium H2O + The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + The Ordinary Niacinamide + Zinc 1% + The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% + The Ordinary Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10% + The Ordinary Advanced Retinoid 2% + Boots No7 Youthful Eye Serum + Clinique All About Eyes + Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief – Clinique Pep-Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser * + Eucerin Sun Fluid Mattifying SPF 50+ …
