A Bag Full of Empties 2018

Don’t worry, you haven’t read the title wrong. Here is another one of my crazy-late posts that actually got the chance of passing the finishing line! I took these photos at the beginning of the year but if you have been keeping up, the start of 2019 started a bit shaky for me and quite frankly, I wasn’t in the mindset to want to fully blog leisurely. I love a good empties post/video so it was always my intention to share this – just a matter of when. I’m still playing a bit of blog catch-up at the moment but I’ll be at the top of my blogging A-game soon in no time. 🙂 Now there’s a lot of products to cover so I’m going to keep it short and snappy for each one. Grab a cuppa and let’s get started! February Monthly Favourites | 2019

The sun has been shining brightly this week and it’s feeling more like Spring (although still cold). My senses are awakened and I’m feeling more inspired than ever. Like finally. I had been waiting for Winter to go to sleep for a good full month now so it’s nice to finally see that wish granted. There’s just something nice about the sun shining down on your face in the morning whilst you’re still in bed because really, who loves dark mornings anyways? I am still playing a bit of blog catch-up but we’re getting close to the end before I start focusing on the new content that I hope to put forward on the blog. I’m rather excited for this because even though I write leisurely, there are topics I want to discuss further as means to inspire the next generation of kids. As some of you may know, I was in Hong Kong for most of February so my favourite products that I’m showcasing here is linked to that. Let’s get started! Featured in …

Setting Up a Good Evening, Good Habits Routine

Following on from my Setting Up a Good Morning, Good Habits Routine, comes along my newly adjusted PM routine! This post will be a little less strict compared to my morning routine but nonetheless, still important since the two go hand-in-hand and can influence each other more than we know. So far, I am finding it a lot easier to adjust my evening routine, possibly because I have certain routines such as my skincare, set in place. The main adjustment I have had to make is essentially shifting everything earlier so that I’m ready for bed by a certain time. Generally speaking, evening routines are a lot more chill than morning routines because there’s less of a rush to get ready! As like the last post, I will be giving some advice on setting up an evening routine. There are tips from that post that practically apply to any habit or lifestyle change, which I won’t repeat here, but feel free to have a look at that too! Why an evening routine? It is common …

Products I’m Trying Out This Year

My shopping has gotten a bit out of hand in recent months. Not that I buy heaps in one go but that’s possibly where the problem lies. I buy in bits and before you know it, a collection has been built but nothing has been opened for use yet. It’s fair to say that I have a few product categories that I no longer need to fill in for this year and what is that you ask? Without further ado, let’s get started! FYI, most of these products were purchased on Amazon. I’ve recently come back from Hong Kong so any beauty products that I’ve purchased on that trip will be showcased separately. Why + How Dry Shampoo Could Be Damaging Your Hair (and Scalp)

There were a number of ways that I wanted to title this. In part, this is a celebratory post because I’ve noticed just how comfortable my hair and scalp has been feeling. It has taken many months – maybe even a year – but I’m feeling better than ever. If you haven’t been following you can read my initial post, Why I Stopped Using Dry Shampoo. There, I tell you a brief history about my hair, and then the problems that I encountered when I started to use dry shampoo which led to my hair and scalp issues. I was happy to have shared the post because I didn’t realise just how impactful it’d be and truthfully, it was nice to know I wasn’t the only one suffering. So please, I urge you to read it especially if you do use dry shampoo – you might just be saving your hair and scalp from all the problems that I had. Note: You should ought to read this article too. Shortly after discovering how much my issues have healed over time, …
