So I can’t remember the last time I talked about what I was up to because I haven’t blogged for about two weeks. What have you been up to? The weather is rather gloomy today that I’m slightly contemplating whether to switch the light on but it’s only 12.30pm. I guess I’ll just manage fine and make-do with what there is of the natural light…
A Few Days Away From Everything
I was meant to post last week but it didn’t happen although I have some drafts handy. (I need to sort those out actually. Crikey.) I think I may have told a few blogger friends but not really verbally announced that I was on holiday this week to Rome for a few days. It sounds crazy but it was nice to have a few days where you really forgot who you were and what responsibilities you had back at home, but of course, one always has to come back and face reality. (I would always recommend traveling once or twice a year though.)
Like in usual fashion, I packed last minute though actually, it was my easiest pack yet. I guess the fact that it was short-haul and actual Spring weather made it that tad bit easier. So expect some posts related to how I packed and what I took skincare-wise, makeup-wise! There’ll be plenty of travel-stories coming up too! 🙂
Some Serious Catching-Up With Friends
I came back from Rome late Thursday night. But seeing as I had the whole week free for once, I had already pre-planned to meet up with a bunch of friends on Friday and Saturday, some of whom I haven’t seen in months. It actually gets a bit difficult as you dive into adulthood because ‘everyone is so busy’ but really, no excuses. Make plans and plan ahead, guys! I’m glad I planned a month in advance because it worked out smoothly!
There was good food, good company and that’s sometimes all you really need. I even got to explore Bath and Bristol for a little while yesterday so it was a great change of scenery for me and my friends.
A Day Of Doing Something and Nothing
I purposefully left today, a Sunday unplanned. Honestly, I did so, so much walking this week that if I did anymore, my legs might just break! Besides, I need some me-time and that’s what Sundays are good for, right?
I’ve already unpacked my things and the dirty laundry has been washed too. I’ve even washed my makeup brushes so that’s another thing off the list! ✅ My skin has been a bit more on the dehydrated side this week so a sheet mask seems like a good idea too.
Something else that I need even more is yoga and lots of stretching to wind down and relax all my muscles. So I’m very much looking forward to my session tonight. If anything, it’ll be a perfect ending to my eventful week.
Last but not least, I will be spending the rest of the day planning (again), sorting through photos and brainstorming some new blog ideas for next week!
Please let me know what you’ve been up to this week or even just what you’re up to today! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Take care and speak soon!
